Hi, I’m Cris

…and I’m here to help you become more healthy, joyful, confident and fulfilled in your motherhood journey — and (spoiler alert!) possibly shake some of those deep seated beliefs that motherhood goes hand in hand with exhaustion, stress and self-abandonment.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no exception.
Like many of you, I’ve lived through the waves of uncertainty and the fires of change that motherhood has brought into my life and I ended up feeling defeated, depleted and broken way too many times. For years, I sacrificed my inner knowing and authentic voice for the approval of others and the illusion of safety.

I feared that I could end up losing myself in motherhood the way I’ve seen my mother doing — and dying as a result of it. Since an early age, I could witness my mother ignoring her own needs and refusing to step out of the victim role. As a result, I came to understand that self-betrayal and self-abandonment are so many times the ingredients that pave the way to toxic patterns such as depression, addiction and illness.

Maiden

I thought the only way to avoid this happening to me is by avoiding motherhood. Therefore, for most of my time as a maiden, I lived in a prison of my own making. I’ve questioned and feared my capacity to become a mother, always looking for an escape — either through work, distractions, relationships, or all at once.

Until one day, when the pregnancy test showed the most terrifying 2 lines of my life. I was pregnant and there was no way out — because no matter how frightening this event was, I knew it was the only way forward. I didn’t want to live my life in fear anymore and I wanted to be able to feel the joy of bringing another human being to life. And so, I decided to put all my faith in The Divine Mother and allow Her to guide my steps forward.

Motherhood

I gave birth to my baby girl in 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, while living away from my family and having no other support except my partner. I loved my daughter like I never thought I could ever love someone, and I tried my best to keep my head above the water but something was not right.

2 years after giving birth I was struggling with incontinence, I was heavily depleted and I blamed it all on the patriarchal society we live in for not offering adequate support and care for mothers. I reached the rock bottom once my daughter started going to daycare and we went into a draining loop of sickness. That was the moment when I realised that, just like my mother, I had neglected my own needs and had forgotten that I have the power to change my circumstances if I wanted to.

This realisation marked the beginning of my love centered motherhood era where I re-learned how to carve time for my mental and physical health on a daily basis. This is the golden rule that's weaving everything together. This is the base for building anything solid — and rest assured, we all need a solid foundation in our motherhood journey.

The Mother Goddess Path

I’m gonna be honest with you — no program, course or practice (mine or someone else’s) is going to be successful unless you take full responsibility for your health and wellbeing and decide to commit to a daily practice of movement and nervous system regulation. It’s something you’re doing not only for yourself, but for your family, your community and eventually for society at large. 

And also, for the many generations of women who came before you who didn’t know or haven’t been allowed to put themselves first so they can thrive in their motherhood journey.

I’m here to tell you that it’s not only possible to survive or surrender, but actually LOVE your motherhood journey. 

So, whenever you’re ready to take the leap — I’ll meet you here. 

It will be my pleasure to support you with all the knowledge I’ve gathered over more than a decade of practicing athletics, pilates, yoga and meditation and working with countless mothers on their postpartum journey. Giving you the tools for your health and happiness brings me so much joy.
